Nitpicking here, but I find it a bit more common to position the avatar in the navbar always at the right edge. It also creates more consistency between the icons when they're sitting all together.

Can't see the image you linked (and sorry about the attachment issue, should be fixed now). I know what you mean though! I'll make this change.
