First of all, I would like to point out that it is absolutely fine to charge money for a mature software and that there does not necessarily have to be a free plan.

But I have to say that I find the price of 300$ very high for a project that is currently in version 0.4. Especially at such an early stage, I think the price should be a bit lower so that more people use this software and it gets more attention.

As I mentioned in "Introduce yourself", I think the approach of this software is really good and the design is excellent. Therefore, I would like to contribute and translate Waterhole into German. Unfortunately, however, I have to decide against actually using it, as the price is too high for my small community and the scope of the software at the moment.

I have been following the Flarum project since 2016 and still work with it today. That's also how I came across this project.
And I really like what I see here, even if it's probably not yet the right time to start a real on production project with Waterhole. But I am following the development with a lot of excitement and joy.

I started translating Waterhole into German today. I plan to do both the informal and formal translation and am making good progress, as there's not that much to translate yet
